Vacation Rental: On Maui, a defining characteristic (and one asked by most condominium buyers) is whether a property allows short-term rentals or not. Our site is one of few anywhere in Hawaii that allows users to search by vacation rentability - a very useful and insightful tool. 

Price Range - Our intuitive 'Price Range' bar is easy to use. Toggle left and right until the you have the correct price parameters.

City - Maui County consist of a few cities, which are then broken down further into districts. Searching the Maui MLS by cities is not as relevant as by districts - For example, Kihei consists of Kihei, Wailea, and Makena. However, somebody searching for a Wailea condo for sale is searching for a different type of property than a Kihei condo. Same applies to Lahaina, which is broken down into Lahaina, Kaanapali, Honokowai, Kahana, Napili, and Kapalua. Searching for luxury Kapalua homes for sale

Property Type - The breakdown is easy to follow and gives you exactly the type of property you are searching for. Residential (single-family home), Condominium, and Vacant Land are the most commonly searched.

Search by Condo - This is a particular useful field for those who have narrowed down their search and know the complex in which they'd like to find their property? Looking for a Honua Kai condo for sale? Simply type in the condo name and voila.

Subdivision - Same principle as with the condo search, type in the specifics of your interest subdivision (i.e. Wailea Kai) and the results are all inclusive of that term.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms - Switch the parameters between your minimum and maximum requirements.

Property Size - Have minimum or maximum square footage requirement for your dream Maui property? Then enter it here.

MLS Number - Occasionally, buyers know the exact MLS number for the property they are searching for. It is a six-digit number starting with the number '3'. Enter it here.

Status - There are 5 applicable listing statuses to search: Active, Contingent (Escrow Cancelling), Contingent w/Release, 'Pending', and 'Sold'. Tired of looking at properties in escrow? Then easily click on only the 'Active' field and you will not have to sift through to find those actively for sale. We realize that in establishing Fair Market Value, it is critical to view recent sales; we are one of the few that allow visitors to search the 'Sold' database. Interested in purchasing a Wailea Beach Villa? Then look at recent sales to better gauge market absorption.

Year Built - Looking for a newer build home or condo? Toggle the Minimum and Maximum year to look at those that meet your parameters.

Maui Bank Owned (REO) and Short Sales - These are important classifiers as many savvy investors have flocked to motivated sellers in REO's and find good values in distressed properties (i.e. short sales). These are the ones for you.

Waterfront - The Maui MLS classifies properties between those that are waterfront (beachfront/oceanfront) and those that are not. If you are looking for a Wailea beachfront condo, then this is an important field to emphasize.
